 Dragon NaturallySpeaking® Preferred is an accurate, affordable, easy-to-use speech recognition application that enables home, small office/home office, business, and educational users to create and edit documents, reports, spreadsheets, and e-mail—all by voice. Users can dictate memos, reports, enter data, fill-in forms, send e-mail and browse the Internet -all by voice!

Digital Recorder for personal transcription.
Typical Users
Dragon NaturallySpeaking® Preferred Edition is an ideal tool for individuals, professionals and businesses who do not need to use custom voice commands, small offices/home office users who transcribe their own documents, mobile workers who want to be productive outside the office, and university and secondary school teachers and students.
E-voice recommends the following system requirements for Dragon NaturallySpeaking® Preferred Version 9.5
• Operating System: Vista, Microsoft® Windows® XP (SP1 or higher) Home and Professional, Millennium, 2000 (SP4 or higher)
• Processor: Recommended 1GHz Intel® Pentium® processor or better or equivalent AMD® processor
• Memory: 1GB+ RAM depending on your applications
• Hard Disk Space: 500 MB free disk space
• Audio System: Creative® Sound Blaster® 16 or equivalent sound card capable of 16-bit recording, or USB microphone wwhich can be purchased separately
• Microsoft Internet Explorer v5 or higher for viewing help files (free download available at www.microsoft.com)
• CD-ROM drive
• Speakers to hear tutorial and dictation playback
• An Internet connection is required for activation of the software
• A Certified Microphone, E-voice recommends the Plantronics 400
A noise-cancelling headset microphone is included with each full copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. An UPGRADE does not include a microphone.
If you are using a digital recorder you will require a USB/serial port.
E-voice recommends the Olympus DS-2300, DS-4000 or DS-5000 for use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking.,
